The novel Coronavirus changed everything overnight, the lockdown was enforced, and social distancing became the new norm. With the lockdown in place, more than 3 billion people, excluding the essential workers like defence and healthcare officials, Others have been pushed to work from home.



Before that, people used to think that working from home is a lot more fun. It also opens them up for more opportunities to relax. However, now they are faced with the challenge of remaining productive, while working from home and having fun at same time.

People who work from home, find that they are doing a lot more work, than what they were doing when they were in the office. It’s also much more challenging to remain productive, when you’re working in a place where you used to relax and rest.

To help you achieve both, here are some ways to make "work from home" fun and yet productive

too. 1.First of all, let go of the things which you can't control. Try to do the best with the resources available to you. Stressing out will do no good to you. So, try to understand and accept the fact, that everyone is going through a crisis, as this is an unusual situation and we never faced in past.

2.A "morning routine" is essentially a set of actions you perform in the morning, A strong morning routine sets you up for a productive day,You can also spend this time relaxing, and maybe go meditating or exercising.

3.Exercise and meditating is a great way to keep your energy up, through out your workday. When you do it in the morning, it can also help wake you up. Aside from that, it’s the right way of remain physically healthy, despite being lock up at home.

4.Have home-cooked fresh meals, nuts and fruits, try to have a balanced diet. You should use to eat healthier meals and prepare healthy snacks. If you accompany your workday with a lot of unhealthy snacks, and meals means, it can make you feel sleepy and out of mind.

5.It’s challenging to remain productive, if you don’t have a "dedicated working space" in your house. You don’t need to have an entire room, to yourself solely dedicated to being a workstation to achieve this goal. Having a desk in one corner of your bedroom, can be sufficient if you create the right environment. As long as you cut it off in some way, from the rest of your home, it will serve as a sufficient place to work.

6. One of the reasons people are having a difficult time having fun. They can’t separate work from their time. The "boundaries between work and personal time" are unfocused,  since you’re working from home. You need to set some ground rules, about your work-from-home situation, with your family members and coworkers.


The core idea of all the above points is to shift your focus to yourself, and channelise all the positive energies around you. It may seem impossible, if you haven’t made an effort yet, but working from home can be made both productive and fun. If you make an effort to set your boundaries and practice better work ethics, you will quickly achieve both of these.
